Practical Action is an INGO, alms to reduce poverty through wider use of appropriate technologies in developing countries. It works in more than 45 countries through its offices in Bangladesh, Bolivia, India, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
Practical Action seeks to recruit the following position for its South Asia Regional Office, Kathmandu.
Programme Coordinator - Urban WASH Programme (Kathmandu based):
Reporting to the Head of Programme Urban WASH, the Programme Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate and support in managing and expanding the Urban Water, Sanitation and Waste programme and projects In the South Asia Region with considerable support for the programme/projects in India. S/he should have post graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other similar discipline with special knowledge and experience in water, sanitation and hygiene issues at the national and international level with minimum three years of work experience (candidate with experience on urban sanitation and Fecal Sludge Management is preferred).
