ICT and Civil Engineers Vacancy - Local Governance and Community Development Programme-II (LGCDP II)

The Local Governance and Community Development Programme-II (LGCDP II) is a national programme which is being implemented by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) and supported by a range of development partners. Applications are invited from the interested and qualified citizens of Nepal for the following positions:

1. Post Title: Geographical Information System(GIS) Specialist(NPPP II)

No. of position: One

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Duration: Annual contract and extended based on performance

Qualification and experiences required: Master degree in ICT, Civil Engineer, Geography, management or related field; At least 5 years' experience of working on GIS Issues in Nepal; Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality reports on time; Experience of working in a national, government-managed programme would be an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written in Nepali and English language.

2. Post Title: Local Infrastructure and Building Code Specialist(NPPP II)

No. of position: One

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Duration: Annual contract and extended based on performance

Qualification and experiences required: Master degree in civil engineer or related field; At least 5 years' experience of working on Local Infrastructure and Building Code issues in Nepal; Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality reports on time; Experience of working in a national, government-managed programme would be an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written in Nepali and English language.
