1. Position: WASH Technical Advisor
Duty Station: Dhading Besi
Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Public Health or a related area
Work Experience: 2 years or more in the WASH sector
- Experience of training/facilitation of workshops and managing procurement contracts
- Experience of working in remote rural settings preferred
Skills: Proficient in English(spoken and written)
2. Position: Shelter Officers
Required: 2 nos.
Duty Station: North and South of Dhading
Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering or in relevant subject
Work Experience: 2-3 years post qualification construction experience
- Experience of working in remote rural settings, preferably with earthquake resilient construction
Skills:
- Knowledge and ability in community mobilisation methodologies
- Good networking, facilitation, training, coaching and mentoring skills
- Proficient language and communication skills in both Nepali and English
3. Position: Civil Technical Sub-Engineers(Overseers)
Required: 7 nos.
Duty Station: 3 North and 4 South of Dhading
Academic Qualification: Minimum of Diploma(or similar) in Construction, preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Work Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in relevant areas
- Experience in rural earthquake resistant construction techniques preferred
Skills:
- Proficient in Engineering software(i.e. AutoCAD)
- Language and communication skills in both Nepali and English
