(Town Development Program II and III)
The Town Development Fund has received financial support from the Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) for implementation of various infrastructure investment/development projects in all the municipalities and the emerging towns of Nepal under Town Development Program: Phase II and III. These programs aim to support the TDFs objectives of providing technical and financial assistance to the municipalities of Nepal as well as strengthening of their technical, managerial and financial capabilities.
The Town Development Fund (TDF) intends to prepare a SHORTLIST OF INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS/EXPERTS for Pre-Feasibility Study, Feasibility Study, Detail Engineering and Design, Appraisal, Monitoring/Supervision and Procurement Works. Traffic Engineer, Highway/Transport Engineer, Civil Engineer, Sanitary/ Sewerage Engineer, Water Supply Engineer, Solid Waste Management Engineer/ Expert, Architect, Financial Expert, Economist, Structural Engineer, Urban Designer/ Planner, Conservationist/Conservation Architect, Landscape Architect, Electrical Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Energy Expert, Mechanical Engineer, Energy Expert (Renewable Energy), Alternative Energy Specialist, Quantity Surveyor, GIS expert, Construction Supervision Specialist, Procurement Specialist, Sociologist, Environmental Engineer/ Environmentalist, Legal Expert, Institutional Expert, Computer Engineer and IT Expert are needed to carry out various works under TDP II and III as well as TDF's internal services.
Hence, TDF requests the interested individuals/experts to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CVs) indicating their interested sectors/ fields. The CVs shall mention clearly the academic qualification with their Grades/Divisions, general and sector specific experiences. Those who intend to apply for more than one sector shall submit separate CVs for each sector/field. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, registration in Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) and PAN registration are essential for Engineers/ Architects; and Master's Degree including PAN registration for other fields.
The consultants/Individuals will be selected in accordance with the TDFs procurement guidelines for TDP III and maybe valid for coming two years. The Fund reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EoIs received without assigning any reason thereof.
The notice was published on 16 March 2015 and sufficient EoIs have not been received. Hence, re-invitation has been done. Those who have already submitted their EoIs need not submit them again but may revise them if they wish to.
In case deadline for submission of Eol falls on a Government holiday. the deadline shall be extended automatically to the next working day. The EoI from individual consultants/ experts have to mention their specific field of expertise in their application.
Request for proposal (RFP) shall be issued only to the selected individual consultants. However, separate EoI/ RFP may be asked for some specific projects, as and when required, after the short listing during the time of actual consulting services required.
