All the positions will be fixed term contract based in Kathmandu.
1) Project Coordinator - Urban Risk Management (URM) Program
Requirements: Masters Degree in Disaster Risk Reduction, Environmental Science, Development Management, Urban/Rural Planning, Civil Engineering, or related subject. At least 5 years experience managing large projects in UNGO preferably DRR projects.
2) Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Program Officer - Urban Risk Management (URM) Program
Requirements: Masters Degree in Disaster Risk Reduction, Social /Rural Development, Urban/Rural Planning, Public Health Promotion, Public Health Engineering, or related subject with at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
3) Project Coordinator - DIPECHO 8
Requirements: Masters Degree in Disaster Risk Reduction, Social/Rural Development, Natural Resource Management or other relevant discipline. 3-5 years of relevant experience in managing DRR projects preferably ECHO/DIPECHO funded project in Nepal. Proven experience and high level of competency in advocacy and public awareness raising, community education, development & implementation of disaster management and contingency plans, institutional strengthening and capacity building, working in consortium and with the government
4) Public Health Engineer - DIPECHO 8 and Innovative Projects
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with majors in water supply and sanitation, or related subject with 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
5) Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihood (EFSVL) Officer - DRR/HTN
Requirements: Minimum Bachelors Degree in relevant field especially in Agriculture Sciences with 3-5 year experience in the sector of EFSVL project management, social mobilization and coordination with government and non-governmental agencies.
6) Program Officer - DRR/WASH
Requirements: Minimum Bachelors degree in relevant field with 3-5 year experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and WASH.
All candidates will have strong organization skills, ability to work effectively in a difficult environment and be flexible in demanding situations. You will have proficiency in English and good interpersonal and team working skills. Your commitment to the values of Oxfam including gender equity in all that we do is essential.
