Civil Sub-Engineers Job Vacancy @ Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Nepal

The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Nepal is the humanitarian and development organization and has been working in Nepal since 1984. The LWF Nepal requires that everybody associated with it abide by the Child Protection Policy and the Code of Conduct. The Lutheran World Federation, Nepal invites application from result-oriented and highly motivated Nepalese candidates for the following Short Term Positions for the period of one year in response to the current emergency situation we are faced in Nepal due to the Mega Earthquake Scenario. The positions are required for earthquake affected areas.

1. Shelter Civil Sub-Engineer(Overseer)2 numbers
Key Responsibilities: The incumbent will assess existing shelter status, prepare necessary drawing and estimates for earthquake resistant low cost shelter and monitor shelter constructions under the guidance of shelter Engineer.
Preferred Qualification and Experience: Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience in shelter in a humanitarian context. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, proficient in AutoCAD application

2. WASH Civil Sub-Engineer(Overseer)6 numbers
Key Responsibilities: The incumbent will conduct WASH need assessment, WASH quality assessment, survey, drawing, estimates of the WASH related facility, and liaison, networking, coordination with community, respective water and sanitation committees and others.
Preferred Qualification and Experience: Diploma in Civil Engineering with three years of relevant experience in WASH, water purification methods in a humanitarian context. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, proficient in AutoCAD application.
