HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal for more than 55 years. Currently, it runs more than fifteen projects in five working sectors: Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate, Governance and Peace, Rural Economy and Water and Infrastructure.
Long, dedicated and continued commitment of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Nepal has attributed to initiate a South-South Cooperation endeavour aiming to transfer the knowledge and technology to South Nations in the areas where it excels. It has assisted at different stages of trail bridge building in many countries that include Tanzania, Ethiopia, Bhutan, Honduras, Mozambique, Guatemala, Switzerland, China, Rwanda, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cameroon and Burundi.The scope of the support varies with the recipient country's need. The support rendered has varied from reconnaissance trips to designing of trail bridges, to capacity building of the partners, to establishing entire trail bridge programmes, to providing technical assistance during the entire life cycle phase.
HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal calls for Curriculum Vitae (CV) to create a roster from interested individual professionals who have bachelor's degree in civil engineering or above and are experts with at least 5 years' experience of working in the trail bridge sector in Nepal or abroad.
