Invitation for Internship Programme for fresh graduates @ ITECO Engineering Ltd., Switzerland

Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Nepal is providing Technical Assistance (TA) for the Government of Nepal (GoN) / Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development / Department of Local Infrastructure Development and Agricultural Roads for the implementation of Local Roads Bridge Programme (LRBP) - Phase I in 75 districts of Nepal. More than 100 motorable bridges in local roads shall be built in this phase.
 
ITECO Engineering Ltd., Switzerland, on behalf of the SDC has set up a technical team at central and district levels to support the GoN in implementing the activities of LRBP. To supplement the TA team and build capacity of fresh graduates in bridge engineering, the firm hereby invites applications from fresh graduates to join the Internship Programme, which will run from January 01 to December 31, 2015.
 
Programme Outline for Interns: The objective of the programme is to provide fresh graduates, female only preferably belonging to Dalit, Janajati, Madhesi/Terai, and other minority community with first-hand experience in different aspects of bridge project management.
 
Requirement: Prospective candidates should be fresh graduates female only having a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
Duty Station: LRBP Programme Districts and Kathmandu
Number of Internship offered: maximum of 6 positions
