The Government of Nepal (GoN) has been implementing the Enhanced Vocational Education and Training (EVENT) project with the assistance from International Development Association (IDA). The main objective of this four-year project is to expand the supply of skilled and employable labor by increasing access to quality training programs, and by strengthening the technical and vocational education and training system in Nepal. EVENT invites applications from eligible Nepalese candidates for the following position.

Post: Regional Monitors-5 persons (one in each development region)
Key Responsibility: Handle overall monitoring and evaluation task of project in their respective development regions.
Duty Station: This position requires extensive filed visit i.e. more than 90% of the time will be spent for field visit. The duty station will be located in Eastern (Biratnagar), Central (Kathmandu), Western (Butwal), Mid-Western (Nepalgunj), and Far-Western (Dhangadhi).
Qualification and Experience: Should have Bachelor's Degree in Education or Skill Related Subjects (i.e.
Agriculture or Engineering etc.) or relevant field, advance degree will be advantageous; For more, please refer to Terms of Reference (ToR) (ToR can be downloaded from website www.event.gov.np)

Duration: Till 31 October 2015.
Monthly Salary: NRs. 24,880.00 (excluding tax)

Selection Procedure: Selection will be carried out in 2 steps (1) pre selection (Qualification, Experience, Training etc. including Essay evaluation) (2) Power point presentation by pre-selected candidates (Performance plan for ToR) and Interview. Only successful candidates will be called for next step selection process. Telephone enquiries will not be entertained.
