Multiple Vacancy Notice (3 positions at National Professional Level starting 1 August, 2014)

FIELD BASED POSITIONS:
a) Vacancy Notice No. NEPA/2014-06: WASH Officer, NOA level based In Janakpur (Fixed Term)
b) Vacancy Notice No. NEPA/2014-07: WASH Officer, NOA level based In Rajbiraj (Fixed Term)
c) Vacancy Notice No. NEPA/2014-08: WASH Officer, NOA level based In Dadeldhura (Fixed Term)
Purpose of the posts: The post incumbent will be accountable for professional technical contribution to programme/project design, planning, administration, monitoring and evaluation of WASH programme/project activities, data analysis and progress reporting, and commitment for enhancement of teamwork and capacity building, In support of achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, aligned with country programme goals and strategy.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- University degree in Public Health, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Hydrology, Sanitation Engineering, or a field relevant to international WASH related development assistance. Additional training in Health Education or Communication for Development (Programme Communication) will be an asset.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional work experience on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in the UN or other international development organization or private sector and national government and field work experience.
- The candidate must have excellent written and spoken English/ Nepali skills
- Knowledge of Rights-based and Results-based approach and programming.
- Demonstrated ability to work In a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
