Notice for Invitation of Expression of Interest(EoI) for IT Consultant
1. IT Consultant(Software Analyst/Developer)
Required: One
Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from recognized college/university. Master in Computer Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
Training: Preferably have certified training in System Analysis and Design or equivalent. Training on PHP or Java will add value.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of general experience in the field of Software Analysis, design and Development after the minimum academic achievement in government or public/private organizations. At least 2 years of experience in the field of development of web based application in latest development platform.. The consultant having experience in the field of web based application in latest development platform with PHP or Java as programming language and oracle as backend is preferable.
2. IT Consultant (Network)
Required: One
Required Qualification: Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent from recognized university/college. Master degree is preferable. CCNP or equivalent certified.
Training: Training in Redhat/Linux is preferable.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in the field of networking administration and management of large enterprise Network of comparable size and complexity after the minimum academic achievement in government or public or private organizations. At least one year Experience in the field of Redhat/Linux preferable.
3. IT Consultant (Software)
Required: One
Required Qualification: Bachelor in Computer engineering or equivalent from recognized college / university. Master in Computer Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
Training: Preferably have training in Certified Oracle DBA and Programming Language with latest framework (Java Framework or PHP preferable).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of general experience in the field of Software Development after the minimum academic achievement in government (preferable) or publidprivate organization. At least of 2 years of experience in Requirement Analysis and Software Quality Analysis. The consultant having experience in the field of web based application Development in latest development platform with PHP or Java as programming language and oracle as backend is preferable.
Deadline to apply: 16 November, 2015
Condition for Apply:
1. The interested applicants for the consultancy service are informed to collect the detail Terms of Reference (ToR) from the address given below during office hours within 15 (fifteen) days of the first date of the publication of this notice, i.e., 16 November, 2015. The notice and ToR can also be downloaded from the web site: http://www.fcgo.gov.np/category/news/ and they are required to submit their respective EOIs within the same deadline.
2. The service period of the consultant shall start from December 2015 and ends after 12 months from the starting date. The service of the consultant may be extendable upon the satisfactory performance of the consultant.
3. All applicants for consultancy service are requested to submit their respective EOIs in closed. FCGO will not responsive for late delivery by postal and any type of online application. The late submission of the EOIs shall not be considered.
4. The applicants should furnish renewed Business registration (If), PANNAT registration and latest tax clearance/tax statement (Up to FY 2070/71) submission certificate duly received by Inland Revenue Office (IRO). If the consultant has not registered in PANNAT, the consultant should register in VAT before issuing invoice.
5. Applicants are required to submit the following documents duly certified by themselves, but not limited to:
I. Personal Resume describing personal details and detail working experiences,
II. Attested copies of certificates for academic qualifications,
III. Attested copies of letter of experience,
IV. Attested copies of certificates of training,
V. Attested copies of TU equivalent certificate for each academic qualification certificate of foreign University,
VI. Other relevant documents.
6. The selection of the consultants shall be made in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines for Selection and Employment of Consultants (GUIDELINES. SELECTION AND EMPLOYMENT OF CONSULTANTS, UNDER IBRD LOANS AND IDA CREDITS & GRANTS BY WORLD BANK BORROWERS, January 2011, Individual Selection Method).
7. The applicants shall indicate in separate of their expected monthly remuneration in the proposal. The remuneration will be finalized during the negotiation with the qualified applicants.
8. If any applicant makes an approach to influence the selection process his/her application will be rejected instantly.
