Information Security Officer(ISO) Position Job Vacancy @ Nepal Investment Bank Ltd.

Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. a leading commercial bank in Nepal has been providing proficient banking services for over 28 years. The Bank has 44 branches across the country with an aim to provide consistent quality service to our clientele. We are seeking result oriented professionals with good communication and problem-solving skills for the following vacancy:

 

Position: Information Security Officer (ISO)

Education/Skills:

• BE/BTech in Computer Science/Information Technology; MBA/MS in IT;
• Certification like CISM/CISA/CISSP (or willingness to obtain certification within 6-12 months of start date)
• Strong working knowledge of all Information Security domains including: network protection, policies, intrusion detection/prevention, access control, etc
• Understanding of Operating Systems (eg UNIX, Windows), Databases (eg Oracle, MSSQL), Programming Languages (eg ASP.NET, JAVA, C++)

 

Experience: Five or more years of relevant experience (Preferably in Banking Sector) in IT Security and Risk Management, Security Policy Development, Vulnerability and Compliance Management, Manage Service Level Agreements, Assets Identification and Management, Business Continuity Planning, Developing Security Architecture.

The applicant should have end-to-end experience of working on at least two audit processes and should possess excellent documentation & communication skills.

The candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of various IT management, Information security and risk management framework/standards like COBIT, ITIL/ISO 20000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ISO 22301, NRB and other relevant legal/regulatory guidelines.

He/she should possess good working knowledge of overall IT functions and have strong knowledge of business operations, policies and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, Implement and Monitor all corporate policies and procedures regarding IT risk and IT security management;
• IT Audit/IS Audit or IT processes review;
• Data Center Security Management;
• PCI DSS & ISO 27001 implementation/audit;
• Work with the business units to facilitate IT risk assessment and risk managements;
• Liaise with external agencies, such as law enforcement and other advisory bodies as necessary, to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture.
