UNDP Nepal works in the areas of transitional governance, pro-poor policies and sustainable livelihoods, peace building and recovery, energy, environment and natural disaster management along with gender and HIV as cross cutting issues with its annual Programme of US$ 40 million. It was established in Nepal in 1963 and works closely with the Government and development partners, thousands of community and civil society groups in all 75 districts of Nepal. In all its activities, UNDP encourages social inclusion, protection of human rights and empowerment of women.
The project is seeking to recruit a national Graphic Designer to support ECN in the design and production of public outreach and civic and voter education materials (printing and audio/visual materials) targeting all eligible voters including women, socially excluded and marginalized groups/castes/communities.These materials will be used in overall electoral cycle focusing key activities for example, during registration of eligible voters, mitigation of possible electoral violence in varios stages, implementation of electoral code of conduct, the election-day activities and so on.
