[Updated]Job Opening @ Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ)

Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ) GmbH invites applications from suitable and qualified professional for the Nepal-German Health Sector Support Programme(HSSP), executed by Ministry of Health and Population(MoHP) and supported by GIZ, on behalf of German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development(BMZ).

The Nepal-German Health Sector Support Programme is planning to support public health authorities in selected earthquake affected Districts with respective post-disaster recovery plans, medical aid supplies, provisional 'birth centers', logistics and support for onsite healthcare personnel. The objectice of the Punarsthapana programme is to ensure the delivery of essential healthcare services for the affected population.

Position: District Programme Officer(3)
Duty Station: Dhading, Nuwakot and Rasuwa
Duration: June, 2015 - November, 2015 with the possibility of an extension
Required qualification and experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in public health or other relevant field; applicants with engineering qualifications are also encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience(previous work experience with international organisations is desirable).
