Engineering Positions Job Vacancy @ Habitat for Humanity(HFH) Nepal

Habitat for Humanity(HFH) Nepal's vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. HFHN operates as part of an international network with a common objective of reducing poverty and eliminating substandard housing and homelessness from the world. HFHN's objective is to ensure enhanced shelter security through access to land tenure and that safe, decent, affordable housing is incorporated within a broader program of community development.

HFH Nepal is seeking applications from qualified, talented and result-oriented Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

No. of Positions: 1 each
Location: Kathmandu

1. Construction Coordinator
Position Type: Short-term Contract staff
Contract Duration: 6 months(June to December 2015)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years relevant work experience in construction, engineering or architecture, including significant on-site or field experience

2. Construction Coordinator
Position Type: Long-term Contract Staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years relevant work experience in construction, engineering or architecture, including significant on-site or field experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• English language skills required

3. Construction Supervisor/Architect
Position Type: Short-term Contract Staff
Contract Duration: 6 months(June to December 2015)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture or related field
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in construction, engineering or architecture, including significant on-site or field experience

4. IT Assistant
Position Type: Long-term Contract Staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• At least 1 year relevant experience in IT administration or technical support
• English language skills required.
