The International Organization for Migration is seeking qualified Nepali Nationals for the following positions to be based in Kathmandu, Sindhupalchowk (Chautara) and Gorkha.
General functions:
In response to the major humanitarian crisis caused by an earthquake in Nepal, IOM is mobilizing staff from different professions, to assist the people and authorities of affected areas.

Position Title: Senior Engineer - 3 positions (Kathmandu- 1, Chautara- 1, Gorkha- 1)
Classification: SAI, 3 months with possibility of extension, ungraded (equivalent to Grade — 6) Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Six years of experience in humanitarian/development programmes; Work experience in logistic/ operation and humanitarian projects an advantage; Knowledge of the dynamics of economics and social development; Familiarity with the UN system in Nepal; Thorough knowledge of English and Nepali.
