The Nepal Health Sector Support Programme (NHSSP) is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) that is supporting the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to implement the National Health Sector Programme-2 (NHSP-2). Options Consultancy Services Ltd (Options) and partners are providing technical support to the GoN to implement NHSP-2.
NHSSP seeks competent, committed and results-oriented candidates for the position of Procurement Officers (2 positions) to provide support to the Logistics Management Division (LMD) of the Department of Health Services. The position(s) will be based in LMD.
Qualifications
Successful candidate(s) will have the following qualifications:
• Master degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Public Administration or Engineering or Law or Economics or Management or Public Health or Pharmacy at least five (5) years of direct procurement experience.
• Good knowledge of the GoN Public Procurement Act and Public Procurement Regulations.
• Experience of the procurement of Goods (essential) and Consultants' Services (an advantage).
• Knowledge of donor (World Bank and Asian Development Bank) procurement rules would be a distinct advantage.
• Fluency in Nepali & English Language.
• Computer literate at least with Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Power Point would be an advantage.
