Engineering Jobs Vacancy @ Karnali Employment Programme Technical Assistance (KEPTA)

The Karnali Employment Programme Technical Assistance (KEPTA) assists Government of Nepal in developing and testing new approaches for employment-led poverty reduction. The main objective KEPTA is to assess whether public works programmes (PWPs) could play a significant role in a national social protection strategy.
 
KEPTA is recruiting following positions for a year contract, with the possibility of extension.
 
1. Position: Technical Cluster Facilitator- 1
Duty Station: Cluster office, Jumla/Kalikot with frequent travel to project sites.
Purpose of the job: Under the guidance, the position holder manages cluster level activities, including planning, implementing and monitoring the programme.
Qualifications & experience: Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience OR Bachelor in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience in survey, design, supervision and monitoring of range of community based infrastructures
 
2. Position: Sub-Engineer - 4
Duty Station: Jumla/Kalikot with frequent travel inside the district.
Purpose of the job: Assist and facilitate Karnali Employment Programme (KEP) in engineering compliance, effective enforcement of new KEP guidelines and monitoring of activities in all the VDCs.
Qualifications & experience: Certificate in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in survey, design, supervision and monitoring of range of community based infrastructures.
