1) Area Programme Coordinator— One Position
Fixed term contract based in Dhangadhi, Kailali
Key Responsibilities: S/he will be working in line with Oxfam's strategic plans and policy guidelines under the leadership of Program Manager (Humanitarian and DRR/M) and Senior Programme Coordinator-URM for planning, implementing and monitoring agreed objectives / issues with Oxfam partners in Western Region of Nepal. Participate in and contribute to the development of wider institutional strategy in the country

Requirements: At least Masters Degree in Disaster Risk Reduction, Social/Rural Development, Urban/Rural Planning, Civil Engineering, or related subject with 3-5 years experience. Substantial experience of development works in UNG0s. Good understanding of the socio-economic, political and ecological conditions of the region. Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills. Proven track record of achieving results and of programme and finance management skills. Ability to manage good relationships with partners, significant institutions and senior government officials.

Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and verbal Nepali and English. Knowledge and experience on gender equality, social inclusion and advocacy. Willingness to interact frequently with target communities and stakeholders. Physical fitness and willingness to travel for field work. You should be willing to travel to and stay in the affected area during humanitarian crisis.
