Terre des hommes (Tdh) a Swiss based International NGO established in Nepal for the last 28 years is seeking a qualified and experienced Nepali citizen to join its team.This position is responsible for managing Tdh'sWASH projects, under the direct supervision of Tdh's Health and WASH Programs Coordinator.
Position Title: WASH Manager
Work Station: Based In Nepalgunj with frequent travels to Mid West (Salyan and Humla) and Kathmandu as required.
Minimum Raquired Qualification and Skills:
Education: Bachelors in civil Engineering, water, environmental science/engineering and degree in management desirable.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in INGO / NGO in community-based project management and/or training, coaching and other technical input in WASH. Ability and willingness to manage project implementation with a strong commitment to social mobilization approaches
Skills/Qualities: Sound technical skill on WASH thematic areas. Ability to work independently; excellent planning and organizational skills; problem solving; training and coaching; interpersonal communication; computer literate; oral and written English; committed to consultative management and ability to work well with others and maintain a positive working environment; motor bike with valid driving license is considered an asset; familiarity with child protection issues, social mobilization is also desired

Main Responsibilities:
- ensure effective implementation. reporting, monitoring with follow up including capacity building for Mala-IV and Sanrakshan project
- Provide technical support to implementing partners in a systematic manner to ensure the quality of work
- ensure partners meet project outcomes according to the program of activities and action plans
- ensure monitoring and learning are carried out at all stages in the project life cycle
- support partners to meet deadlines and all reporting requirements
- support the design and implementation of baseline, inline, end line surveys, feasibility, project design as needed.
- prepare monthly internal Tdh reports and contribute to donor quarterly report in timely manner
- represent Tdh at various district and central level coordination meetings
Salary and benefits: NPR 35000 per month basic salary. Dashain bonus, medical benefits, provident fund, transportation allowance and an annual end of contract bonus.
