IT/MIS Professional Vacancy - Human Resource Development Centre (HURDEC) Pvt Ltd

A reputed national-level micro-finance institution more than 100 branch offices and about 200,000 clients across the country is looking for an IT/MIS professional to lead its MIS Mission. The position is Kathmandu based with frequent field visits. This is a contractual position for two years and can be extended further or converted into a permanent position through mutual understanding. The purpose of the position is to lead the process of upgrading the Institute's existing MIS/IT into an effective online system and keep it up-to-date in line with the growth of the business. The IT/MIS Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
 
Job requirements
  1. A Masters degree with MIS/IT as the major subject and minimum five years' relevant job experience or a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science with minimum 10 years' relevant job experience
  2. Solid experience of MIS/IT work in banking sector, preferably with microfinance institution, is a must
  3. Proven track record of IT/MIS project management and use of Oracle11g and SQL&PL/SQL

Job summary
  1. Lead IT/MIS up-gradation and implementation of Central Server Application process including development of a road map and transition plan for installation and operationalization of new IT infrastructure and MIS
  2. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Institute's vendor IT Company in line with the Institution's growth needs and ground realities
  3. Build and maintain professionally competence and team spirit within the IT/MIS division
