Civil Engineering Opportunity - Poverty Alleviation Fund

The Poverty Alleviation Fund(PAF) Nepal is implementing the "Community infrastructure Projects" and "Income Generation Projects" with demand-led participatory approaches with funding from International Development Association(IDA) in 55 districts, mostly remote. The project provides technical, financial and institutional assistance to rural communities to plans, implement and operate and maintain their various infrastructures and income generation projects activities through the support of Partner Organizations(POs).

PAF intends to maintain an updated roster/standing list of individual consultants for the services with specific skill and expertise as mentioned below, enabling to hire them with short notice and as and when required basis for one year or longer period if necessary. The required services and qualification and experiences of the professionals are as follows:

Service Roster: Infrastructure
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering of Community Infrastructure preferably in field of poverty allevation(Rural roads, trail bridges, Buildings, Water supply and sanitation, Micro Hydro and Irrigation, etc.)
  • Relevant training in designing software and experience in appraisal and monitoring of community sub projects preferred.
