Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited (NHE), a Public Limited Company is involved in designing, manufacturing and installation of hydro and electric power equipment and relevant steel structures. NHE is seeking a dynamic and result oriented individual for the following position:
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Number required: 1 (One)
Level: IX (Nine)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform design, calculation and drawing
- Prepare tenders, quotations and proposals
- Negotiate with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve fair deal from contract agreement.
- Execute and monitor the job/project assigned
Key Qualification: The candidate must be B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with at least 1 year of work experience. Candidates having exposure to hydro power projects /energy utilities will be given preference.
Required Competencies:
• Good communication skill both in English and Nepali

• Ability to use AutoCAD Software, ANSYS/Solid Works and other computer applications
• Ability to work as a team Leader
Duty Station: Butwal with frequent visit to site.
Nature of employment: Contract basis
Salary and other benefits: As per Company rule.
